About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on finance leader to manage our small but complex financial operations. This person will be deeply involved in day-to-day financial management, balancing high-level financial strategy with tactical execution. They will develop financial strategies, oversee accounting processes, ensure compliance, and research best practices for cryptocurrency management, payments, and financial technology.

The ideal candidate has strong financial expertise, experience in crypto, experience in iGaming (preferred), and a problem-solving mindset to navigate financial challenges in a fast-paced environment. This role requires to be in office in Miami and/or a willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial health across multiple accounts and business entities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, reporting, and forecasting to support business strategy.
• Research and implement financial technology solutions to streamline operations, including crypto management, payments, and reconciliation tools.
• Manage audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting, working closely with external auditors and accountants.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, particularly in crypto and iGaming.
• Stay updated on emerging financial technologies, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Partner with company leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with business goals.

Key Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial management experience, including oversight of multiple entities, accounts, and currencies (both fiat and cryptocurrency).
• Deep understanding of accounting, compliance, and financial best practices. 
• Extensive knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Proven ability to independently maintain full-cycle accounting, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong experience working with auditors, tax advisors, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Hands-on experience with financial software, crypto reconciliation tools, and accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
• Ability to train and mentor finance staff while optimizing financial processes and controls.
• Self-sufficient and proactive, capable of managing financial operations with minimal oversight from leadership.
• Located in Miami or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in iGaming.
• Knowledge of payment processing, financial security, and fraud prevention in digital transactions.
• CPA, CMA, CFA, or other relevant certification (preferred but not required).

Benefits

The salary range for this position $200,000-$250,000. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications.
